Life Family and the Pursuit of Sanity

or… adventures in infertility and babies and family drama!

Week in Review 30 July 2, 2010

How far along? 30w0d

Maternity clothes? Need.More.Shorts (or for my boss to turn the a/c down below 78…)

Body Oddities? Really, I feel like I’ve been kicked in the crotch all the time.

Sleep? Yeah, no, this isn’t happening. I’d like it to. But, no.

Best moment this week?  Baby shower!!!

Worst moment? Slight freak out over baby giant taking over my body!

Movement? All of the time. I LOVE it. Hands down, best part about being pregnant.

Food cravings? I’m not hungry, but I’m starving, but I don’t want anything, but some watermelon sounds good… as does potato soup…

Rings? Except when I’m retaining a LOT of water, it’s getting looser. I wore my original set to my baby shower!

Intense Dreams? Every night… Last night we saw Eclipse, so as you can imagine, dream was pretty well Robert Pattinson focused. So pretty…

Medical Concerns? Apparently mah baybee is a giant.

What I miss? Not getting bitched out for drinking a little Pepsi… Sushi… being able to get dressed without grunting…

What I look forward to: 3rd trimester ultrasound on 7/15

Emotional State? OK, except when I’m not… Been mourning Bean a lot this week. Been up and down with work stress. But, overall, feeling kinda zen. It’s weird and hard to describe.

I totally hear you about getting bitched out for eating/drinking something ‘I shouldn’t’. Some of the older ladies on my staff have been analyzing my lunches… very irritating!
