Right, so I have three things to talk about (yes, after all that silent time I’m suddenly interesting). There are updates of the mundane nature (who’s standing, who’s crawling and who’s decided not to poop for two days… hint hint none of them are me), of the pissed-at-national-magazines nature and of the MIL Hell nature. So, there will be three posts, because obviously so not related. This is the mundane post.
This has been a mega week for development! The boy now pulls up to a stand and stands. Like on his own. For like 5-10 seconds. Or, he’ll hold on, for minutes. Several of them! AAAHHH!!! Dear toddler person possessing my infants body: slow down!!!! OK, yes, it’s awesome he can do this at 8.5 months, but also, he’s ONLY 8.5 months.
Another development of the week, we went from army crawling to mixed proper-belly-off-the-floor crawling and occasional army crawling. Leaning more toward the proper crawling. He’s mobile. Real life, honest, no shit mobile! Good thing we been a child proofing 🙂
OK, now a question… how long do I wait before worrying about no poo? He last poo’d on Sunday. He still nurses and sometimes has a little water and eats his solids. On Sunday he was sick and had 4 movements, but he hasn’t had one since. So, when do I get worried? Should I bust out the prunes? Are you tired of hearing about poop, yet?
